My bio
Hello, I'm Nick Israel Stahre, a physical therapist at UF Health. My journey into the field began with a bachelor of science in applied physiology and kinesiology at the University of Florida, followed by a doctorate of physical therapy at Florida International University.
My commitment to delivering the best therapy experience extends to everyone I treat because I believe that every individual deserves personalized and effective care. I have found a particular affinity for working with lifters and athletes dealing with lumbar, cervical and other spinal pathologies. The diverse and complex nature of this group presents a unique challenge that I enjoy tackling.
My own experiences with physical therapy, stemming from my time as a collegiate football player, ignited my passion for the field. Witnessing the positive impact of rehabilitation on my own life inspired me to pursue a career where I could help others return to doing what they love. As a therapist, my goal is to empower each patient with the tools they need to take control of their health and lead a fulfilling life.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a long-term competitive powerlifter, holding numerous state records and achieving a top-5 worldwide ranking in my weight class at one point. My dedication to strength training not only informs my approach as a therapist but also reflects my personal commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle.
