My bio
Hello, I’m Nicole Lavin, a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in geriatric medicine. I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients across a wide range of settings, including the hospital, clinic and skilled nursing facilities. My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and evidence-based practice, with a focus on supporting patients and families through all stages of health and illness.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, where I completed a scholarly project on culture and end-of-life care. Prior to that, I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. I’m certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care.
I’m passionate about improving quality of life for my patients, particularly in the areas of geriatric care, cognitive health, and advanced care planning.
Whether I’m managing complex care plans or helping families navigate difficult decisions, I strive to build trust and clear communication with every patient I serve.
