About me

As a pediatric occupational therapist at University of Florida Health, I strive to create individualized, evidence-based interventions that meet each child’s unique needs. To achieve this, I collaborate closely with families, caregivers and interdisciplinary teams. I support children in developing the skills necessary to participate in and engage in meaningful activities such as play, self-care and school tasks. Ultimately, I hope to empower children to reach their full potential, improve their quality of life and foster a sense of independence that carries into their future development.

Growing up, I witnessed my aunt losing her fine motor, gross motor and speech abilities due to viral encephalitis. This condition significantly affected her independence and ability to engage in daily activities. Through consistent therapy, I had the privilege of watching her regain these skills and return to a more independent life. Observing her journey firsthand deepened my appreciation for the transformative impact of rehabilitation. It also inspired me to pursue a career helping children reach their full functional abilities and participate in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life. This is what ultimately drove me to become an occupational therapist.

I want my patients and their families to know that I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships, as I believe a good connection is essential to meaningful progress. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, sports, reading and cooking.
