About me
Peter Frisone is a certified nurse practitioner at UF Health Orthopaedics – Nocatee and UF Health Orthopaedics – St. Augustine. With 16 years of experience in Level 1 trauma care and in working with active-duty military for the U.S. Department of Defense, Frisone has developed a strong foundation in managing complex trauma and musculoskeletal injuries. Frisone has extensive experience in differentiating and ruling out sports-related injuries, ensuring accurate diagnosis and appropriate surgical and nonsurgical management.
In addition to his clinical experience, Frisone has served as an adjunct professor at the university level, where he was actively involved in educating and mentoring future health care professionals. His dual experience in clinical care and academia reflects his commitment to advancing evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration and lifelong learning — values that strongly align with UF Health’s mission of excellence in patient care, education and research.
