My bio
Hello, my name is Rachel Cohen, and I am a certified physician assistant with a strong background in outpatient internal medicine and family medicine. My interests include preventive medicine, women's health, Type 2 diabetes management, mental health and nutrition. I strive to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to my patients and value shared decision-making.
I earned a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida, where I volunteered in different medical settings, including the neonatal ICU and operating rooms. I graduated from Yale University with a Master of Medical Science, where I completed core rotations in primary care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, OBGYN, geriatrics, surgery, psychiatry and more.
I am certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and hold a Florida state license, along with a DEA license. The American Heart Association also certifies me in basic life support.
Outside the office, I enjoy reading, yoga and spending time with my spouse, toddler and beagle.
