About me

My interest in speech-language pathology began early. Both of my parents were teachers at a school with a program for students who were deaf or hard of hearing, and I grew up interacting with those students. Those experiences gave me a lasting appreciation for children with special needs and shaped my desire to support their communication and development.

My practice focuses on early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication, autism, and childhood speech and language disorders. I aim to help children reach their full potential while coaching families so they feel confident supporting their child’s progress at home.

A future patient or family should know that I am a patient problem solver who’s willing to try anything that may help a child succeed. I work collaboratively with families and tailor each approach to meet a child’s needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy sewing and crafting, especially making projects for friends and family. I also love building large, detailed LEGO sets with my son — we’ve completed the White House and are currently working on a fully functional LEGO piano.
