My name is Rebeca Sigüenza, and I am a nurse practitioner at UF Health Family Medicine – Eastside. I became a nurse practitioner in 2021 and previously worked in neurosurgery at UF Health, specializing in back pain and spine surgery for two years before joining the Eastside clinic in 2023.

As a family nurse practitioner, my focus is on preventive care, chronic disease management, and the treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. I am committed to practicing evidence-based medicine and staying up to date with current guidelines to provide the highest quality care.

I believe the best care comes from strong partnerships between patients and providers. My goal is to listen, build trust, and work together with my patients to create the best plan for their health.

I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. I am also a certified Spanish/English medical interpreter, allowing me to provide culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
