Richard Axelsen, PA-C

Richard Axelsen, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant dedicated to delivering dignified, patient-centered care. He treats patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, providing high-quality care close to home for acute illnesses and injuries.

Axelsen received his Master of Science in physician assistant studies from the School of Health Sciences at Touro University in Central Islip, New York.

He went on to complete a nine-month fellowship accredited by the College of Urgent Care Medicine and the Urgent Care Association, where he received advanced training in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urgent conditions, including respiratory infections, dermatologic conditions, musculoskeletal injuries and lacerations. His goal is to provide timely, compassionate care so patients can return to feeling their best.
