My bio

As a board-certified urologist at University of Florida Health, I see my role as both a physician and a guide. My responsibility is not only to diagnose and treat patients, but also to help them understand their condition and become informed about the options available to them. Above all, my goal is to help each person feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally. I also want them to know they are heard, supported and cared for every step of the way.

My path to becoming a physician began with an early love of learning, especially math and science., My mother and pediatrician nurtured this passion and encouraged me along the way. As a teenager, I read The Making of a Surgeon by William A. Nolen, which inspired me to pursue a career in surgery. During medical school, I discovered urology and was drawn to the wide variety of conditions affecting the urinary and reproductive systems, as well as the advanced medical and surgical techniques used to treat them.

One thing I want every patient to know is that I’m always available to help in any way I can. I believe in clear, straightforward communication and in taking the time to truly listen. My goal is to be approachable, supportive and reassuring so that patients feel comfortable reaching out with questions or concerns at any point in their care.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy freshwater fishing, amateur golf, digital photography, acrylic painting, gourmet cooking, international travel and spending time with my family.
