My bio
My name is Robin Bergbauer, MD, and joined the UF Department of Anesthesiology as an assistant professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology in September of 2021. I received my bachelor’s degree in nursing from Florida State University and my medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. I completed my anesthesiology residency at the University of California San Francisco, and then a cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship here at the University of Florida.
I’m interested in the perioperative challenges of valvular replacement in patients after mediastinal radiation therapy and I’ve presented research at the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, fishing, and tennis.
