My bio
My inspiration to become a physician stemmed from an early interest in the intricacy of the human body. I am passionate about empowering my patients and educating them to choose the right treatment path.
I joined the University of Florida in 2023 as an endoscopic spine fellow. As part of my duties, I also continued to practice as an anesthesiologist when I did not have any surgical responsibilities. After graduating in 2024, I continued in a part-time position with the University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology while also practicing as an interventional pain physician for a private practice group in Orlando.
I completed my ACGME-accredited pain medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, I earned my medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia and completed my categorical internship and anesthesiology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
During my training, I was exposed to a variety of techniques for managing surgical pain, which sparked my interest in pain medicine. I was drawn to anesthesiology because of the specialty’s unique ability to guide patients safely through surgery.
I believe patients should understand the source of their pain and feel confident taking an active role in deciding their next steps in care.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy swimming, relaxing at the beach and trying new restaurants with my wife. I’m also a fan of Liverpool Football Club.
