Ryan D Mark, MD, CAQSM : Bio and credentials
Sports Medicine Specialist
My bio
My name is Ryan D. Mark, MD, CAQSM, and I am a primary care sports medicine doctor at the UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute. I received my medical degree in 2016 from the Saint James School of Medicine in the Grenadines and completed a three-year residency in family medicine at West Virginia University Medicines United Hospital Center in 2019. In 2020, I completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the Military National Capital Consortium, where I practiced sports medicine globally.
As a lifelong athlete, I enjoy working with other athletes and people who wish to get active again following injury. The opportunity to restore a patients ability to remain active whether in sports or chasing their grandchildren is a responsibility I take seriously.
Before joining the University of Florida, I worked with U.S. military personnel and their families, both overseas and within the United States, as a sports medicine physician.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dogs. I have been fortunate to travel the world and enjoy learning about different cultures and their foods.
