My bio
As a physical therapist at UF Health, I have always been interested in working in health care, particularly with people experiencing neurological conditions. The brain and nervous system are incredibly complex and interconnected with the rest of the body. My curiosity about how they function together led me to pursue a career in neurological rehabilitation.
I am passionate about helping patients maximize their functional abilities and adapt to their new normal, whatever that may look like. I hope to serve as a stepping stone in my patients’ journeys toward regaining their quality of life and returning to the activities and experiences that bring them joy. I find it incredibly rewarding to help patients identify their goals and work toward greater independence and participation in the things that matter most to them.
I am a proud Double Gator, having earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida. Outside of work, I enjoy working out, taking long walks, cycling on the Hawthorne Trail, making the perfect latte or cup of coffee at home, baking — including my recent sourdough hobby — and tackling DIY home projects.
