Hi there, I'm Samantha Miller, a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health, pelvic oncology and orthopaedics at UF Health.
After fracturing my ankle during cheerleading at the age of 8, I underwent a challenging recovery process. The physical therapists who supported me left a lasting impression, igniting my desire to help others in similar situations. This drive led me to pursue a bachelor of science in business administration and healthcare management, followed by a doctorate of physical therapy, both from Misericordia University.
During my graduate studies, my research focused on pelvic health physical therapy, sparking a passion for this specialized area of practice. Today, I'm dedicated to empowering patients to reach their full potential and lead healthy, active lives. I believe in making rehabilitation a positive and enjoyable experience, incorporating creativity and fun into my sessions whenever possible.
Outside of work, you'll often find me exploring the Orlando theme parks, particularly Walt Disney World. I love discovering new food, people-watching and experiencing the thrill of the rides. My newfound passion for running, inspired by my love for Disney World, has led me to participate in RunDisney events. In my downtime, I unwind by indulging in reality TV shows, exploring new places and cherishing moments with family and friends.
