About me
Hi there! I'm Sara Oliver, an occupational therapist at UF Health. I hold a master of science degree in occupational therapy from Florida International University, building upon my bachelor of science in pre-occupational therapy from the University of Florida. I'm also certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
My journey into occupational therapy was influenced by personal experiences with my grandparents, who required comprehensive rehabilitation following health complications. Through shadowing various disciplines in different settings, I found that occupational therapy resonated most with my personality and interests.
I specialize in assisting individuals with neurologic deficits, neuromuscular disorders and orthopedic conditions. My goal as a member of the rehabilitation team is to enhance the quality of life for my clients. I understand that rehabilitation often involves challenges and adjustments, which is why I'm dedicated to guiding my clients through every step of their journey, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, no matter how big or small.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family and engaging in outdoor activities. I also have a passion for creative pursuits, finding joy in artistic endeavors.
