About me

My name is Sarah Kelley and I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A proud Gator, I earned my medical degree and completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Raised in a medical family, I had an early interest in medicine and, more specifically, women's health. I grew up in rural Bangladesh where many women gave birth in rural villages with few resources. As time passed, it became clear that OB-GYN was the only specialty I could see myself doing. In my practice, I strive to create an environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and being inquisitive, since so many aspects of pregnancy, aging, and simply being a woman are unnecessarily mysterious.

During my residency, I completed two research projects on ways to improve the care of women who go through a loss during pregnancy. My goal is to support women during these most difficult times in their lives. Currently, I provide care for patients with abnormal uterine bleeding, post-menopausal bleeding, abnormal pap smears, pelvic pain, menopause, as well as contraceptive counseling and device placement. Additionally, I provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy and perform deliveries and c-sections. In all aspects of care, my goal is to help patients understand the basis of their condition and tailor the plan of care to their lifestyle.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband, cooking healthy meals, long walks outdoors and traveling to new destinations.
