My bio

Sharon Brown, APRN, is a certified family nurse practi­tioner at UF Health Primary Care – Julington Creek. She has over three decades of clinical experience in treat­ing acute and chronic illnesses. She sees patients ages 18 years and up. Her clinical interests include chronic disease management, women’s health, orthopaedics, dermatology, mental health, gastroenterology, pharma­cology, nutrition, immunizations, and travel medicine. Her technical skills in family medicine include clinical histories, physical assessments, triage, and interpretation of labs, EKGs, and X-rays. She served much of her career as an active-duty Army nurse, with experience across a broad range of geographic and cultural backgrounds. She is a strong proponent of patient safety and patient-centered clinical decision-making. Her medical motto is “putting prevention first.” She is excited to bring her same level of clinical expertise, execution, and dedication to the St. Johns community and beyond.
