About me
My name is Sherry-Lynne Bredy, MHS, OTR/L, and I am an occupational therapist at UF Health Rehab – Magnolia Parke. I am board certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.
I completed my bachelors in occupational therapy from Florida International University in 1998 and masters in health sciences for occupational therapists from the University of Florida in 2003. My experience extends outpatient orthopedics in hand therapy, general occupational therapy in assisted living facility and home health, acute care, and inpatient and outpatient rehab, specializing in neurology.
My desire and purpose in life is to serve people -- walking alongside patients --- and help them regain their independence. My goal is to use all of my knowledge, experience and skills to help maximize patients’ independence and safety to live a better quality of life.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and serving on mission trips, playing tennis, taking photos and leading a health education team at Church --- creating events surrounding healthy lifestyles in the community.
