About me
As a physical therapist at University of Florida Health, I am committed to empowering my patients with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence to keep doing the activities that matter most to them. I approach patient care with empathy, patience and compassion. My aim is to create a supportive environment where patients feel safe, heard and empowered throughout their rehabilitation.
Growing up, I was a dancer, and after sustaining a hip injury, I underwent physical therapy. Throughout my treatment, I became fascinated with the profession, and that curiosity has grown as I pursued my education. My passion for pelvic health, particularly pelvic oncology, was solidified during a clinical rotation at UF Health. Witnessing the profound impact physical therapy can have on helping patients regain function and return to the activities they love inspired me to pursue this specialty.
Professionally, I hope to continue to expand my expertise in movement disorders and vestibular rehabilitation while contributing to a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to advancing neurological care. My goal is to help my patients regain their independence and return to the activities they love while making the rehabilitation experience welcoming and enjoyable.
Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in the area. As an animal lover, I volunteer at the local humane society whenever I can. I also enjoy relaxing outdoors while working on my needlepoint projects.
