About me

My name is Soleil Schutte, MD, and I joined the UF Department of Anesthesiology in 2021 as an assistant professor in the Division of Acute & Perioperative Pain Medicine. I earned my medical degree at Nankai University School of Medicine in Tianjin, China. I then completed both my anesthesiology residency and Acute and Perioperative Pain Medicine Fellowship here at the University of Florida.

Prior to my residency, I worked as a trainee in ophthalmology at Beijing Tongren Hospital and as a postdoctoral fellow and assistant project scientist in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology and Department of Development and Cell Biology at the University of California, Irvine.

My hobbies include hiking, cooking, crafting, and hanging out with close friends.
