Stacey N Griggs Cricchio, MS, OTR/L

Hello, I'm Stacey Griggs Cricchio, an occupational therapist at UF Health. My journey in occupational therapy began with a bachelor of science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, followed by a comprehensive pediatric internship that included experiences in the NICU, elementary school, preschool and primary care settings. I then pursued a master of science in pediatric occupational therapy at Belmont University.

As a board-certified occupational therapist, my expertise spans a wide range of areas, including executive skill dysfunction, attention/concentration deficits, visual processing dysfunction, feeding/oral motor dysfunction, sensory processing dysfunction and more. My diverse background allows me to address the unique needs of individuals across the lifespan, from developmental delays to mental health and wellness dysfunction. Currently, I am working on developing an evaluation tool for early intervention, aiming to detect possible learning concerns that could be addressed proactively before students or patients face challenges in their academic settings.

Growing up in an active community, I witnessed firsthand the value of sustainable wellness and the positive impact of engaging in functional, meaningful activities. My small community emphasized the importance of a balanced life—blending spiritual endeavors, work commitments and personal interests. This inspired my journey to become an occupational therapist, with the goal of helping others find joy and purpose in their daily activities.

Beyond my work, I find fulfillment in studying, sewing, playing the piano, gardening and exploring the connection between food and medicine. I also love to spend time with family, staying active through activities like biking, walking and going to estate sales!
