About me
Steven Requena, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at UF Health St. Johns – Palencia, who sees patients aged 4 and older. He has extensive experience in adult health, older adult care, pediatrics and women’s health. Steven has managed complex patient care scenarios and administrative duties. As an organized and critical thinker, he’s overseen a 390-bed facility and coordinated care to reduce readmissions and improve patient access to care. Fluent in Spanish, he fosters collaboration and provides preventive guidance for diverse patient populations. An Army Veteran, he brings a unique perspective, always striving to deliver the highest standard of care.
