Hi, I'm Tarah Capozza, a physical therapist practicing at UF Health. I earned my doctor of physical therapy degree from the USF School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, Morsani College of Medicine, in Tampa, Florida. Additionally, I hold a bachelor of science degree in human performance from Florida Gulf Coast University in Estero, Florida.
My commitment to advancing my skills led me to become a certified lymphedema therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. In my practice, I specialize in orthopaedics, oncology and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Specifically, I address orthopaedic conditions affecting the low back, hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and neck. Additionally, I focus on impairments associated with oncological conditions, including breast cancer, head and neck cancer, brain cancer and lung cancer. My expertise extends to the management of lymphedema and cardiopulmonary conditions.
I am passionate about providing comprehensive care to my patients, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in staying connected with the latest advancements in physical therapy. This commitment to ongoing learning ensures that I can deliver the highest quality care to those I have the privilege to serve.
