Travis J Hankamp, DPT

My name is Travis Hankamp, and I am a doctor of physical therapy here at UF Health, specializing in adult neurological rehabilitation. I earned my doctorate of physical therapy from South College. My focus areas include neuromuscular disorders, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke recovery and vertigo-associated disorders.

I am passionate about improving patient confidence and independence with mobility to enhance their quality of life. My goal is to help patients live fulfilling lives by removing barriers to participation and improving their function. I believe in the power of teamwork, and I always refer to my patients and me as a team, or “we,” in their recovery process.

Outside of work, I enjoy golf, auto racing and 3D printing. I love outdoor activities, working with my hands and engaging in creative pursuits.

I am dedicated to supporting my patients through their rehabilitation journey and helping them regain the ability to live life to the fullest.
