My bio

Hello, my name is Ursula Crews, and I’m a nurse practitioner at UF Health Family Medicine – Ocala Heath Brook. I’ve dedicated my career to supporting the health and well-being of patients of all ages through treating acute conditions, managing chronic illnesses and promoting overall wellness.

I have a special passion for improving access to care for individuals with autism, developmental delays and other physical and mental disabilities. I believe every patient deserves compassionate, personalized care, and I’m committed to being an advocate for those whose healthcare needs are often underserved.

My journey in health care began in Gainesville, where I became a licensed practical nurse through Santa Fe Community College. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University in Nashville, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Most recently, I completed a post-master’s certificate as a family nurse practitioner, also at Grand Canyon University, to expand my ability to care for families across the lifespan.

With more than 38 years of nursing experience, I remain focused on helping patients lead healthier lives and making sure everyone in our community feels seen, heard, and cared for.
