About me
I was drawn to reconstructive urology because it allows me to care for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. These moments can include recovery after an injury, cancer treatment or other life-changing conditions, all of which can affect far more than physical health. They can impact relationships, mental well-being, and overall quality of life.
As a urologist at UF Health, reconstructive surgery gives me the opportunity to combine technical expertise and creative problem-solving with meaningful patient relationships to help people regain both their health and their sense of normalcy.
My goal is to help patients understand their condition, so they feel empowered to make informed decisions about their care. I want every patient to understand where they are, what lies ahead and the treatment options available so they can move forward with confidence. I believe the best treatment is not always the same for everyone, but rather one that aligns with each patient's goals, values and priorities.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My village is an integral part of my life, providing the balance that allows me to be fully present for my patients. I also love to travel and explore different cultures, discover new adventures, experience history and share those experiences with my children. In my free time, you'll also find me reading both fiction and nonfiction or enjoying creative outlets such as baking, music and art.
