About me

My name is Yury Zasimovich, MD, and I am an associate professor in the UF Department of Anesthesiology and chief of the Division of Acute Pain Medicine.

I joined the department as an assistant professor in 2015. I received my medical degree from Belarussian State Medical University in Minsk, Belarus. After working for several years as a practicing anesthesiologist in Belarus, I came to the University of Florida, where I completed a residency in anesthesiology and served as chief resident. I stayed on here to complete my Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship.
