My bio

I pursued pediatric occupational therapy because I am passionate about helping children build the skills and confidence they need to participate fully in their daily lives. I enjoy creating meaningful, play-based interventions that support each child’s unique strengths while collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary teams. Seeing children gain independence, achieve milestones and develop confidence through therapy continues to inspire and motivate me in this field.

My goal as a pediatric occupational therapist at UF Health is to build strong relationships with children and their families while helping each child thrive in daily life. I enjoy creating fun, meaningful activities that support growth across home, school and community settings. One of the most rewarding parts of this work is seeing improvements in a child’s functional performance and confidence and knowing those changes can make a positive difference for the whole family.

One thing patients and families should know about me is that I focus on building a strong relationship first. I believe children learn best through play, connection and feeling comfortable, so I design sessions to be fun while also focusing on skills that are meaningful and important to each child and family.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring Gainesville’s nature trails and spending time outdoors, as well as browsing local thrift stores. I also like staying active through Zumba, reading when I want to unwind and spending time with my energetic puppy, who definitely keeps life fun and busy.
