General Questions

Is the Executive Health Program only for executives?

Although it’s called an Executive Health Program, our personalized approach is appropriate for anyone who wants to take charge of their health efficiently and effectively.

Will the physician I see for my Executive Health physical become my primary care physician (PCP)?

Douglas Williams Executive Health does not replace your primary care. We recommend that every participant have a personal primary care physician. If you don’t already have a PCP, we encourage you to establish a provider relationship with one. If desired, we can help you find an internal medicine or family practice doctor within the UF Health system.

Billing and Insurance

Can I use my insurance for the Executive Health Program?

Douglas Williams Executive Health Program is a fee-for-service program that works directly with individuals and corporations. We are not affiliated with any insurance carriers or Medicare. We do not bill or collect from any health insurance or managed care plan.

How do I pay for the Executive Health Program?

You have four options: credit card, check, health savings account (HSA) or through a corporate contract with your employer or company.

Why don’t I get a full body scan as part of the Executive Health Program?

Although full body scans have recently gained popularity, they have not been proven as a necessary screening test. The frequency of such scans, as well as the levels of radiation exposure, remains a concern when recommending the tests. UF Health has scanning technology and can use it when appropriate.

Outcomes

What is the return on investment from Douglas Williams Executive Health Program?

  • The return on investment for the individual executive includes possible early detection of a life-threatening illness, as well as enhanced daily health and well-being.
  • For the employer, the return on investment is twofold. First, enhanced health has a proven ability to increase concentration and productivity, helping the executive maximize his or her value to the organization. Second, executives who learn to recognize the value of their own health help to promote wellness throughout the organization.

What will I walk away with?

When you leave, we will provide you with an Executive Health folder that contains all of your test results, prevention guidelines, plans for regular health maintenance, diet program, exercise and lifestyle recommendations and plans to manage specific diseases or problems.
