Biography

Erich Horn, MD, MBA, is board-certified in ophthalmology. Dr. Horn graduated from Harvard Medical School in Boston and pursued a medical internship at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California. Thereafter, he attended a residency program at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco where he would later serve as vice chair, chief of comprehensive ophthalmology and associate director of academic affairs for their department of ophthalmology. During his tenure at the California Pacific Medical Center, Dr. Horn also worked as an eye physician and surgeon in a private practice in Oakland, California.

At UF Health, Dr. Horn serves as an associate professor in the department of ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Florida Medical Association, Association for Research and Vision and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
