Description

Miracles, Myths and Medicine: Breaking Down Barriers to End-of-Life Programs with F-A-I-T-H

During this presentation, patients will learn to set goals for spiritual self-care and how to cope using
the F-A-I-T-H model: Family, Affirmation, Importance, Transitions, Hope.
This informational course will address core issues relating to spirituality and often faced by cancer
patients and their families during end-of-life care. This discussion will help patients understand how
health care teams assess their spirituality and the context of clinical and pastoral conversations. This
will also help patients and clinicians become more comfortable when spirituality concerns need to
be addressed.
This educational class is offered to cancer patients, families and members of the community to
promote improved health and quality of life. Classes are free and hosted online.
