Join UF Health ShandsCair to learn more about caring for children with critical medical and trauma needs.

Thursday, August 22, 2019

Lecture Day 7:20 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Topics include: HIE update, pediatric drowning, pediatric trauma, point of care neonatal ultrasound and new drugs for use in the neonatal and pediatric population.
Breakfast, lunch and breaks, as well as a T-shirt and six CEs are included.

Skills Lab Day* 7:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
(optional with an additional cost of $55)
Skills include: intubation, intraosseous infusion, emergent umbilical vein catheterization placement and neonatal simulator scenarios.
Breakfast and break, as well as skills lab materials, take-home handout and four CEs are included.
