LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the conslubsion of the presentation, participants should be able to:

Recognize common age-related diseases that are accentuated and/or accelerated in HIV patients. Identify limitations of currently available data for measures of multimorbidity and frality in HIV patients. Distinguish similarities and differences between human aging vs. that seen in African Green Monkeys. The participants should be able to identify opportunities for aging research in non-human primates and human populations that experience accelerated and/or accentuated aging.
