Colorectal Cancer and Incontinence: Past, Present and Future - Women's Advantage Seminar

Are you over 50? Then you should be screened for colorectal cancer. As the third most common cancer in the U.S., it affects men and women of all racial and ethnic groups. It can occur in the colon or rectum and often has no warning signs so the earlier it is diagnosed, the better.

As we age, we are also more prone to other colorectal problems, including bowel incontinence. While usually not a serious medical problem, it can interfere with daily life and lead many to avoid social activities for fear of embarrassment.

• Attendees for the seminar should self-park across the street in the north campus - east patient/visitor garage (on Newell Drive) and walk back across Archer Road to the south campus. The garage parking is free with a voucher.
• If you have a handicap parking permit you may use the valet parking located at the Cancer Hospital front entrance. The valet parking is free with a voucher.
• Vouchers: As always, patients and their visitors must obtain a patient parking voucher after they receive care, from their outpatient check-out, nurses station or other location of service; then present the voucher to the valet staff or parking attendant upon exit for free parking.
