Find out what the risks are and what you can do now to preserve your brain health for years to come.

LADIES — LET’S GET TO THE HEART OF AORTIC STENOSIS.

As a woman, your heart is unique but as your age increases so does your risk for aortic stenosis. This narrowing of the aortic valve causes your heart to work harder as it pumps blood. It can include symptoms such as shortness of breath and chest pain or, for some women, nothing at all. Learn more about this common yet serious valve disease in women and the Women's Cardiology Program at UF Health.

Khanjan Shah, M.D. from UF Health Cardiology is the speaker at this seminar.
