This seminar will explore how nutrition can help prevent and manage chronic diseases while supporting overall wellbeing. Attendees will learn about the Food Is Medicine approach, the role of healthy eating patterns in reducing disease risk and practical strategies for making informed nutrition choices. The discussion will highlight how food can complement traditional medical care and help individuals build sustainable habits that support lifelong health.

Prevent Burns, Protect Loved Ones
Burn injuries can happen in seconds and often occur during everyday activities at home and outdoors. This seminar will explore common causes of burns, including cooking accidents, contact with hot surfaces and outdoor fire-related injuries. Attendees will learn practical strategies to help prevent burns, protect children and loved ones and stay safe in the kitchen and around open flames. The discussion will also cover basic burn first aid, when to seek medical care and how quick, appropriate treatment can improve outcomes and reduce complications.
