UF Gator Global Initiative Conference 2015

The Gator Global Initiative (GGI) Conference, a two day social justice event aimed at developing socially responsible leaders, will take place on March 14-15, 2015. We seek to drive change by inspiring participants to take action on an issue they are passionate about, allowing participants to collaborate with other driven UF students, and providing knowledge about social issues. Whether you are a founder of a non-profit organization, a member of a student club, or simply want to learn about how to take your first step in making a difference in your community, join us at the 2015 Gator Global Initiative Conference.

UF alumni, professors, and local community philanthropists will be providing their insight and participation about multiple social issues through interactive panels with topics including Health Disparities, Education Inequalities, Environmental Sustainability, and more.

Workshops, led by community leaders, will allow participants to walk away with valuable soft skills that can be used to confidently commit to action at the end of the conference and to make a change in their community. Small group sessions in between panels and workshops will allow participants to recognize and utilize the diversity on campus, as well as provide a unique environment to collaborate, share ideas, receive feedback, and empower others.

We inspire participants to find their passion and give them the necessary tools to create a positive, sustainable impact in their community.
