World Diabetes Day - Century Tower Lighting

Join us Join us, Albert E. Gator, & the rest of the Gator nation as we light Century Tower in recognition of World Diabetes Day on Wed. Nov. 14 at Century Tower at 5:30 p.m. The annual lighting ceremony is recognized by the International Diabetes Federation as an event that Shines a Light on Diabetes. Find directions and parking information to Century Tower here. Complimentary Blood Glucose Screenings (Both type 1 & type 2 screenings) will be made available by the UF Student Health Care Center.

The first 50 people in attendance will receive a World Diabetes Day T-shirt!

From Archer Road: Remain on Archer Road until you turn left on 13th Street. Turn left from 13th Street onto Stadium Road, which is on the UF Campus. You will see Century Tower on the right side of the road at the intersection of Stadium Road and Newell Drive.

From Newberry Road: Stay on Newberry Road, which will turn into West University Avenue after crossing 34th Street. Stay on West University Avenue. Turn right onto 13th Street, which is at the intersection with a Holiday Inn and Kangaroo Express. Turn right onto Stadium Road, which is on the UF Campus. You will see Century Tower on the right side of the road at the intersection of Stadium Road and Newell Drive.

Parking: Parking for Century Tower is available on the University of Florida campus at Union Road off SW 13th Street(200 yards from the Tower), and in the parking garage at Newell Drive and Museum Road off SW 13th Street (400 yards from the Tower).
