Description

Chronic kidney disease, or CKD, is characterized by a gradual loss of kidney function and can be caused by diabetes or high blood pressure. As CKD progresses, it can lead to kidney failure, which requires dialysis or a transplant. Learn how to reduce your risk by managing  your blood pressure and diabetes.

Amir Kazory, M.D. UF Health Nephrology will be the featured speaker. The UF Health Nephrology tied for 11th in the 2016-2017 U.S. News and World Report Specialties Hospital Rankings.
