Giri V Kaliki, M.D.
Giridhar Kaliki Venkata, MBBS, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. He pursued his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India and served his residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, New York.
In 2009, Dr. Venkata completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine and served a pediatric cardiac intensive care fellowship at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Afterward, he moved back to Gainesville and pursued a pediatric cardiology fellowship at the UF College of Medicine.
At UF Health, Dr. Venkata serves as an assistant professor of pediatric cardiology and critical care medicine at the UF Health Congenital Heart Center. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society for Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Cardiology, the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society and the Florida Medical Association.
His clinical interests include ventricular assist devices, pediatric cardiac intensive care, pediatric heart failure and cardiomyopathy.
