Iris Ferrechia, RN
Iris brings 35 years experience managing GSD protocols, emergency situations and encouraging self reliance in her children with GSD Ia. Iris has provided two decades of leadership for youth and children’s auxiliaries, created and presented a health education series funded by grants that she helped to write and is working on nursing care plans for GSD. Iris graduated from Quinsigamond Community College with degrees in Nursing and Complementary Health as president of her class and recipient of both the QCC Woman of Distinction Award ad the respected Alumni Scholarship. She has a special passion to improve resiliency in children with the disease as well as increase awareness of the disease in high risk areas of the United States.
