C-PAD Program

The C-PAD clinic (Cardiology Peripheral Artery Disease) is a dedicated and comprehensive clinic within the cardiovascular specialty for patients with peripheral arterial disease. We strive to provide a one-stop destination for all PAD referrals. Our program takes pride in providing a convenient, all-inclusive experience. Diagnostic testing, evaluation by vascular specialists, and formulation of plan (medical therapy, appointments for exercise program, stents, or surgery) are all completed in one day!

More importantly, PAD is one of the significant risk factors for coronary artery disease. All referrals would be evaluated by board-certified cardiologists, who are also vascular specialists, to evaluate for co-existing CAD or structural heart disease where applicable.

The Non-Invasive Vascular Lab at C-PAD

All of our technologists have received formal training at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Our lab follows the IAC guidelines and offers the procedures listed below:

Clinical Trials/Research

C-PAD is proud to be a part of the CREST 2 trial. This trial randomizes asymptomatic standard surgical risk patients with >70% stenosis to best medical therapy vs. carotid artery stenting. If you have patients that fit the eligibility criteria for this trial, please refer the patient to C-PAD for evaluation.
