UF Health is at the forefront of pregnancy and neonatal care, using the latest diagnostic tools, treatments, and research to improve outcomes for parents and babies. Pregnancy care across our regions

As one of the state’s leading academic health systems, UF Health offers comprehensive prenatal, labor and postpartum care through a network of regional hospitals and outpatient centers. Each of our locations that specialize in labor and delivery is staffed by board-certified specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine and a wide array of disciplines, ensuring that every pregnancy receives the tailored, multidisciplinary care it deserves.

Gainesville

Home to our academic medical center and one of the region’s highest-level perinatal facilities, Gainesville offers advanced care for high-risk pregnancies, access to a Level IV NICU, 24/7 in-house OB coverage, and specialized maternal-fetal medicine services. Patients also benefit from research-based care and expanded neonatal services at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
