Florida's premier addiction treatment facility.

The UF Health Florida Recovery Center (FRC) has been Florida’s premier addiction treatment facility for over 25 years, proudly serving patients from across the United States. Our evidence-based and results-oriented treatment focuses on the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of recovery followed by the well-known 12-step method.

We treat people struggling with all substance use, including but not limited to alcohol, marijuana, benzodiazepines (Klonopan and Xanax), opiates (heroin, oxycodone and fentanyl) and stimulants (cocaine, methamphetamine and Adderall) and co-occurring mental health disorders.

The Florida Recovery Center’s beautiful new campus is situated on a 5.6-acre parcel in northwest Gainesville in close proximity to the UF Health Psychiatric Hospital and Springhill medical offices, easily facilitating treatment for other medical conditions. We offer modern residential three- and four-bedroom apartments with private and semi-private rooms, and amenities including a serene pool and recreational space, pickleball court, business center, gym, and individual and group therapy rooms.

If you’ve been thinking about starting your addiction treatment journey, start now and call us today.

When you’re ready to take the first step towards recovery, we’re here for you.

As part of an academic medical center, FRC offers comprehensive care and treatment for other medical conditions co-occurring with alcohol or substance addiction, meeting all of your needs in one location.
