There are many ways you can make a difference at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital and help us continue to provide the highest quality care.
UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary Foundation was formed in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) organization to join and support the Auxiliary volunteers at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital. The Foundation conducts programs dedicated to ensuring that adequate resources are available to maintain superior care at the hospital and it’s mission is carried out in a transparent and efficient manner.
Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit Fund
Join us as we raise funds to bring this innovative stroke treatment program to The Villages.
Heart and vascular program
Stand with us as we raise funds to support the expansion of our heart and vascular program.
Signature events
Our events make giving back enjoyable and rewarding, while helping us deliver excellent health care.
Scholarship program
You can help encourage and enable local high school seniors and hospital employees to pursue health care degrees.

Did you know that 100% of the net proceeds from any of our retail sites stay right here in our community?
Hospital tours
The Foundation office offers hospital tours for groups of 8 or fewer. When available, a Foundation team member may also make presentations to clubs and groups within The Villages® and surrounding communities to share information and the latest developments throughout the hospital. Spiritual care
The pastoral services staff at UF Health seeks to provide spiritual support for patients and their family members by providing spiritual counseling, participation in consultations, sharing sacraments and other rituals of faith and being available as supportive personas who can listen objectively to the concerns voiced to them.
