UF neurosurgeon elected to national post
University of Florida neurosurgeon Dr. Arthur L. Day has been elected treasurer of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
Day is the James and Newton Eblen eminent scholar in cerebrovascular surgery and the residency program director in the College of Medicine’s neurosurgery department. Day, who has served on the association’s board of directors for three years, was elected to the three-year term at the organization’s April meeting in Toronto. Day is affiliated with the Evelyn F. and William L. McKnight Brain Institute of UF.
