UF radiologist receives prestigious honor

University of Florida radiologist Walter E. Drane, M.D., has been elected a fellow in the American College of Radiology.

Drane, a professor of radiology at UF’s College of Medicine and director of nuclear medicine at Shands at UF medical center, was selected for his outstanding contributions and service to the field and for his accomplishments in research and education. He is the only practicing radiologist in Gainesville to have received this honor, and the only radiologist in the state to receive this award this year.
