UF researcher wins national award
The American Psychological Association’s Society of Pediatric Psychology has named University of Florida researcher Alexandra L. Quittner the recipient of the 2001 Logan Wright Distinguished Research Award.
The national award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of pediatric psychology and will be presented to Quittner this August at the association’s annual meeting in San Francisco.
Quittner, a professor in the College of Health Professions’ department of clinical and health psychology, will deliver a talk titled “The Power of Context in Pediatric Psychology Assessment and Intervention Research” at the meeting.
