Kosch, Antonelli elected to faculty council posts
Two University of Florida faculty members have been elected to leadership positions in the College of Medicine Faculty Council for the 2002-2003 academic year.
Shae Graham Kosch, Ph.D., a professor of community health and family medicine, was chosen president-elect of the council by a faculty vote. She will take post as council president for the 2003-2004 academic year. Patrick Antonelli, M.D., an associate professor of otolaryngology, was elected vice president.
Michael Clare-Salzler, M.D., an associate professor of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine, is the current council president.
Among its many objectives, the council seeks to promote the advancement of medicine through education, research and patient care and to provide a means of communication between faculty members and administrators.
