UF pediatrician named to test committee
Marilyn Dumont-Driscoll, M.D., Ph.D., an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine, has been appointed to the United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 1 Test Material Development Committee for Introduction to Clinical Diagnosis.
Members of the examination committees work with the board’s staff of evaluation and measurement experts to assure the quality of the evaluation system.
The licensing examination board, a joint program of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the Federation of State Medical Boards, provides a common system for measuring the clinical knowledge and cognitive competence of applicants for medical licensure.
Dumont-Driscoll also serves on the National Board of Medical Examiners Introduction to Clinical Diagnosis Test Committee, which develops the subject tests.
